Pyramid Head – Clothes

I didn’t want to do full-body makeup every time I use this costume, so I bought a morphsuit and painted it instead. The apron is suede, dyed and wood-stained.
- This is the suit as it arrived in the mail.
- Way too gaudy for Silent Hill.
- Working out how I want the suede to hang.
- Added belt loops at an angle so the fabric would flare open in front.
- Added a couple more buttons to hold the flaps tight around the waist.
- See? Held tight.
- Added a center flap that buttons to the belt loops.
- Demonstrating how the flap hangs.
- Dying the fabric.
- Dyed. Better, but not good enough.
- Painted the arms and lightly sprayed the whole thing darker. I added black oil paint later.
I forgot to take photos of the apron after wood-staining and the morphsuit after oil paints & velcro. You get the idea though. The suede got wet-looking, which was freaking awesome.
