Pyramid Head – Helmet

- 1:8 scale modeling

- Full size now.

- Decided I wanted the ridge to go further back.

- Sizing – testing out the bike helmet.

- Gluing in the helmet.

- Bondo added.

- Found the perfect pipes at Lowe’s.

- Sliced in half.

- Constructing the helical gear for the back.

- In the movie they used a 5th gear cog from a Yamaha transmission.

- Papier-mache’d to cover the corrugations of the cardboard.

- Attached the gear.

- Gluing on the black cheesecloth.

- The outer frame is on for good now – it won’t fit around the bolts.

- Lightly painted so I could see if I missed anywhere.

- Newspaper covering the cheesecloth. Painted.

- Resin’d a few more times.

- Gotta paint the bottom yet.

- Starting to look like something.

- Painted the tips with resin for reinforcement.
